“Each time I walk into a classroom, I can choose the place within myself from which my teaching will come, just as I can choose the place within my students toward which my teaching will be aimed. I need not teach from a fearful place: I can teach from curiosity or hope or empathy or honesty, places that are real within me as are my fears”(Palmer, 1998, p. 57, The Courage to Teach).
Research indicates the need to empower teachers professionally for promoting learners interest and active involvement to foster effective classroom management(Omomia O. & Omomia T., 2014).
Being available to correct with care and instill discipline in a measured way that is fair to all parties involved, will not be easy, but it is achievable with the intention of affirming positive behaviors while correcting unacceptable negative ones.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
